I took quite few background images so I had choice to see what worked perfectly with my main image.
I used two models in the process of finding my main image so i had even more choice in putting both the main image and background together.
In most of my main images the models are holding props, i did this to give the main image more school/college like look and feel to it.
I was going to use pictures of the stairs because they are what most students use everyday and they are familiar, the stairs are what people will associate with college making them a good background for a college magazine.
This is the main image that I will be using on my college magazine front cover.
