Creating/Designing Cover

  I used the lasso tool to cut out small, left over bits of my background after using quick selection tool to cut out the majority of it.

 I used the text box to make my masthead and sell lines

• Masthead font/size - Stencil std, 72pt
• Sell line font/size - 

 I used the colour picker to change the colour of my font. I changed the text colour to yellow because because when i tried everything in the burgundy colour it looked like there was too much burgundy on the page. I then proceeded to put an outer glow on my sell lines/feature stories and also on my plug.

 I double clicked on my main image layer and selected drop shadow to but a shadow on my main image to make it blend in with the background more.

Finally I used the ellipse tool to create a circle to put the contents of my plug (Free Book Mark) inside. I contemplated making the circle yellow to match the title colour however I noticed that one of the conventions of the plug is to stand out from the rest of the magazine.
